I just had to share this with everyone. My Great Aunt Kathleen loves to play the guitar and sing. Well, the other night at her church a member recorded her, took a few picture, then made a little slide show with it. I just love it. Hope you all enjoy!

“Gospel Ship” – My Sweet Aunt Kathleen
May 25, 2010I got to photograph Taber and Nathan a little over a year ago in their wedding attire. Taber said that on her wedding day she cried so much that she needed images of her and new husband, Nathan, without the tears! Ha-ha! It was so much fun, and I was so happy when she told me a few months ago that she was expecting and wanted to do some maternity images. I cannot wait to see their little baby. She is due June 12th so it won’t be long. Keep a look out for a sweet little boy on the blog folks!! Until then…here is the incredibly gorgeous Mom and Dad!
These are my nieces. I love my nieces and nephews more than I ever thought I could love a child. I can’t even imagine how much I would love my own children if I had any. It is so great to hear their little voices light up with excitement when you walk in the door, or the feel up their little arms wrapping around you to give biggest, yet tiniest, hug!! We did a little photo shoot of them a couple of weeks back as a mother day’s gift for their mom (my sis-in-law). I get so excited when I get to shoot them because it is just like a play day. They are trained pretty well too; because they will go about their business playing like I want them to and out of nowhere just strike a pose! Ha-ha…it is hilarious.

May 17, 2010Meet Dillon, my very last senior of 2010! I had a lot of fun going around town and finding new locations to photograph. He is planning on going to film school so he enjoyed and participated in the location hunting as well. Good luck Dillon!! Can’t wait to tell people…hey…I took his seniors pictures! =)
I love getting to meet new people and hear their stories. That is just one of the many reasons why I love my job. What other job lets you talk to your customers about their first dates, and that moment they knew they loved one another. This is Mary and James. They are in love. I had so much fun with these two. You can just tell by the way they look at each other that they are madly in love. I am so glad I was able to capture this moment in their lives.
This last week…on Tuesday to be exact…I attended my last day of college…for the rest of my life! I cannot begin to explain how happy that makes me. If you would have told me 10 years ago I would have a masters degree, I would have never believed you. I never thought college was in the cards for me then, and all I can say is I am so glad I did it! It was tough, and there were many late nights and bad moods…which reminds me…I need to cook my husband many meals of fried chicken to make up for it. Thank you to my family and friends that helped me keep going. I would have never made it through without all of you! So on that note, here is Masie! She is a senior at New Deal High School. Have fun in these next four years, Masie, they go by fast…so hang on!
