Meet Kaci Blagrave. She and I have been friends for almost 10 years now! We meet in cosmetology school…yes…I have a cosmetology license. She is an amazing hair stylist, among many other talents like permanent makeup and eyelash extensions. She just moved to Austin and was in town for Thanksgiving so we got to spend the afternoon together. It was so much fun, and she let me experiment with loads of cool lighting. This past weekend I headed out to the McBee’s house. It was really great to get to hang out with some of my customers in their own environment. I usually meet everyone near downtown Lubbock and go out on the town to find great spots. I truly love meeting new people, and having them welcome me into their home like Tracy and James did. I have to give my sister all the credit…she took this pictures last night as the boys waited for their bath to get ready. I did edit it a little bit, but she catures this awesome moment! Don’t you just want to pinch ‘um! Boy…they’re gonna hate me for posting this when their older. haha!

So the other weekend, when John and I went to Terlingua, our hotel room was not equipped with a Television. If any knows me, they know I cannot go to sleep without watching the TV for a good hour or two in bed first. Well, I had to entertain myself in other ways that evening while John worked on his article. So while playing with my computer, that I have owned for aleast a year now, I discovered it had a built-in webcam!! Here is the result…ha-ha…hope you enjoy!
I have been up to a lot of things around here at SB!! I have a huge secret to share with all of you blog followers but and I am just busting at the seams! This past weekend John and I went to the Working Ranch Cowboy Association Finals in Amarillo with some of our closest friends. We had so much fun hanging out and I bought some really cute stuff at the trade show! Here are a few images I shot at the finals. These guys are definitely tough…check out the wild cow milking…they pretty much got their butts kicked but some cows! The very last picture was an awesome little kid that could ride that little Shetland great. He roped that calf better than some of the cowboys in the finals…I bet he’ll be here someday competing!
So you have seen the two latest post with Nateily and Luis. These two are cousins and have grown up together. They each wanted their own session but we worked it out so they could do some shots together as well. I have so much fun hanging out with the whole family to entire shoot!! I also got stung by a bee for the first time. I laid on it…crazy huh! But I’m better know and these images where well worth it. Thanks for a great evening guys, hope you all enoy the images.
