Meet Dillon, my very last senior of 2010! I had a lot of fun going around town and finding new locations to photograph. He is planning on going to film school so he enjoyed and participated in the location hunting as well. Good luck Dillon!! Can’t wait to tell people…hey…I took his seniors pictures! =)
This last week…on Tuesday to be exact…I attended my last day of college…for the rest of my life! I cannot begin to explain how happy that makes me. If you would have told me 10 years ago I would have a masters degree, I would have never believed you. I never thought college was in the cards for me then, and all I can say is I am so glad I did it! It was tough, and there were many late nights and bad moods…which reminds me…I need to cook my husband many meals of fried chicken to make up for it. Thank you to my family and friends that helped me keep going. I would have never made it through without all of you! So on that note, here is Masie! She is a senior at New Deal High School. Have fun in these next four years, Masie, they go by fast…so hang on!

April 30, 2010This is the beautiful Brandi!! She is a senior at Monterey and is about to become a Texas Lornhorn!! I have a VERY short sneak peek from our session last night, but no worries…there are more to come very soon!! SB Studios is so busy getting graduation invitations out and prints ordered…I LOVE summer time!!!
All I can say is WOW! I had so much fun with Brianna! She is a gorgeous senior from Monterey and has such a sweet spirit. We went all over Lubbock on one of the coldest evenings we have had in a while. But, she was a trooper and it’s a good thing, because the light was incredible. Let me know what you think. Leave a comment; it’s easy…just do it! Ha-ha!
Meet Ashleigh. She is a senior at Frenship High School! I met Ashleigh through my husband, he shoes her horses. I really had a ton of fun hanging out with her the other morning, west Texas wind and all. Ha! It was so great to get to play with all her animals and use them as props =)! To those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE goats. So when we headed over to the goat pen I was so excited. John and I haven’t had any goats in while because they got to be too much work, but we are getting back in the goat business this Saturday. We are going to head off to the sale and get some new ones. I am so excited, and can’t wait to photograph them…I know…to some of you that may sound lame, but I love it!
Oreo’s on Steroids…any of you ever eaten one? Well you should, because they are incredible! Kanon’s mom and sister were making them while Kanon and I were out taking his senior pictures. They offered me one when we got back and it’s all I have been thinking about since. Thanks Karen, I now have a new addiction…ha-ha! You take crushed up Oreos, mix them with cream cheese, form them into balls and freeze them….oh wait there’s more. Then, once they’re frozen, you dip them in chocolate…yeah…tell me about it. So, thankfully the Lee’s live very close to me…because I might just be stopping by for some more Oreo goodness!!

March 28, 2010I consider myself a Texan first and foremost. I can’t see myself living in any other state. Really, what else do you need? We are able to drive for 12 hours and never leave the state. We get to experience winter and summer in the same week, sometimes. =) We have Dublin Dr. Pepper (which I just tried for the first time last week!), Texas Football, cowboys, pickups, bluebonnets, incredible sunsets, the ocean, mountains, rivers, lakes, canyons, and best of all…the ability to say I’m a Texan! I could go on forever about why I love Texas but I think I need a whole post just for that. Last week I met up with Avrey, to take her senior pictures. Avrey is a Texan too, and shares the same love of this great dusty oasis that I do. She emailed me and said I want a Texas-style photo shoot. I was so excited, but when the day came it was windy and the sky was brown. Avrey said no problem let’s go for it, and I am so glad we did. The blowing dust just made her Texas style shoot even more authentic. I had a blast hanging out with her and her mom, Jan. Thanks Jan for holding my reflector…you were awesome!!! And thank you Avrey for rockin’ it out in the wind with me!
