You may remember this little cowboy. This is only the second time I have photographed him but, I have been photographing his family for a few years now. He is so happy and easy going. I just loved getting him to laugh because his smile is so sweet. I have a feeling he is going to be cowboy. Already has the wranglers, a shiny belt buckle and some tiny spurs!!

July 5, 2010Introducing…Dallan Brax! I have had the joy of getting to photograph Taber, Dallan’s mom, several time and I LOVE her! We always have so much fun together and now I got to play with her new little boy. According to Mom, Dallan is going to be a pro golfer…according to Grammy, he is going to be a pro roper…and according to Grandpa, he is going to be a farmer! Good luck Dallan…haha…looks like you’ve got you work cut out for you!
So I got a new backdrop a few weeks back, and needed to do a little experimenting. Okay, I know a plain ole white backdrop doesn’t sound that exciting but I have been having a blast with it. I have been able to try loads of new lighting set-ups. But, when I first unwrapped this little jewel I was itching for some test subjects. So…introducing…my BBQ sandwich, my niece, and my incredibly hott husband John. ha-ha! I love how clean it is and really forces you to focus on the subject. PS…that sandwich is incredible…B-Man’s BBQ at Milwaukee & FM2641…you must go get some! There was enough meat in that baby for me to make 3 sandwiches…
The Reynolds Family – Lubbock Family Photographer
June 5, 2010Well, I have been out of town for a while now and am really ready to be able to work at my own desk in my office. This laptop is not that good for editing images. My eyes are starting to get crossed! haha! But I will be back on Sunday for a while and am so happy! But, in the meantime here is the Reynolds family! I have know Karen for a while and it was so much fun to get to hang out with her and her adorable family the other day. Hope you enjoy your long awaited sneak peek guys!!
These are my nieces. I love my nieces and nephews more than I ever thought I could love a child. I can’t even imagine how much I would love my own children if I had any. It is so great to hear their little voices light up with excitement when you walk in the door, or the feel up their little arms wrapping around you to give biggest, yet tiniest, hug!! We did a little photo shoot of them a couple of weeks back as a mother day’s gift for their mom (my sis-in-law). I get so excited when I get to shoot them because it is just like a play day. They are trained pretty well too; because they will go about their business playing like I want them to and out of nowhere just strike a pose! Ha-ha…it is hilarious.
It’s been a little quite on this blog…
March 22, 2010Well it has been a little quite on the blog but that definitely doesn’t reflect what has been happening around SB Studios! I have had a lot of things going on here this past week and will definitely be letting you all know tomorrow, but it is late and I need some good R&R. Until tomorrow, here is a couple shots I took of two of my favorite men. My Husband, John, and my nephew, Colt! We took Colt to the rodeo while he was in town and he really had alot of fun. I had fun too pretending that Colt was my adorble, sweet little boy…haha! I always claim my nieces or nephews as my own when I take them places…it’s so much fun!

I have had the privilege of photographing these little girls several times throughout their little lives. I love getting to see them grow and change. Their dad sure has his hands full doesn’t he! I found some awesome new locations too. Let me know what you think…leave me a comment…I love um!!

February 24, 2010My little nieces came over last night to play and eat supper. They showed up in their dress up clothes… (I don’t think they ever take them off)…ha-ha! They decided to turn my studio into a performance stage. These are some pictures of them singing Lady Gaga, Beyonce and some Barbie song I had never heard. It was the cutest thing. John and I also got a picture from Jenna that she drew of John, me and her camping out. How sweet is that…it is now so proudly taped to the fridge…yes…taped…ha-ha!
Below: Jenna posing while on her break from performing.

Below: Jenna doing the Single Ladies Dance!

Below: Kara being sweet as ever!

Well, these little faces might look familiar. They are my nieces, Jenna & Kara. I got to photograph them a few weeks ago for their Christmas card and I am just now getting around to getting them up on the blog. I might be biased, but they could be gap models for sure!
