You may remember this little cowboy. This is only the second time I have photographed him but, I have been photographing his family for a few years now. He is so happy and easy going. I just loved getting him to laugh because his smile is so sweet. I have a feeling he is going to be cowboy. Already has the wranglers, a shiny belt buckle and some tiny spurs!!
Introducing…Dallan Brax! I have had the joy of getting to photograph Taber, Dallan’s mom, several time and I LOVE her! We always have so much fun together and now I got to play with her new little boy. According to Mom, Dallan is going to be a pro golfer…according to Grammy, he is going to be a pro roper…and according to Grandpa, he is going to be a farmer! Good luck Dallan…haha…looks like you’ve got you work cut out for you!
Meet Kylar. He is the newest addition to the Lawson household. I have known Julie, Kylar’s mom, for almost six years now. I meet Julie when I worked at Gene Messer Toyota and we have remained friends. I have been able to photograph her niece and nephew as well. Being a photographer as made it possible for me to watch their children grow and their lives change. I truly love my job. I get to participate in other’s happiest moments in life and who could really ask for anything more.
So the other day…in the midst of the snow storm…my husband came in my office and said, “You should go take some pictures outside in the snow.” I replied,” I know, it’s beautiful outside, I think I will.” Immediately after I finished my sentence I got a text message from one of my best friends ever, Sarah! It said, and I quote, “Want to go take pictures in the snow? I can be the fat snowman!” Ha-ha…I was so excited and eagerly responded with an,” Absolutely!!” So, with a little schedule rearranging, we met up Friday afternoon for a cold and snowy photo shoot!! It was a blast to get to photograph Sarah, especially since she is going in today to have her little man…yet to be named! Yes folks, Sarah is three days away from having a baby and she looks this incredibly gorgeous. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had getting to hangout with Sarah the other day. We have been best friends since high school and I am so glad we are able to stay in touch after all these years. Love you Sarah and I will be thinking about you the next few days…can’t wait to meet the little man!
I am so excited to show off my latest session images. Here is Khloe Jasper…isn’t she beautiful? Her mom, Taylor, and I grew up together. I was so excited when she called and asked if I would photograph little Khloe. It was so much fun hanging out with them for the afternoon. Khloe managed to poop on two of my blankets and pee on another, but thanks to a prepared Mom and Nana, it all came out and the blankets now smell spray and wash fresh!! =) Well, without further adieu, here is Khloe. Oh P.S…there is a ton of images. Sorry, I just couldn’t narrow it down!
I have been pretty bad lately at keeping up with my blog. Well…I have some good reasons…I have been really busy (great reason number 1), just finished up school for the semester (great reason number 2), and I have been spending time with my family (awesome reason number 3)!!! These adorable little cheeks below belong to my nephews. Caleb on the left and Colt on the right. I have to give my sister all the credit…she took this pictures last night as the boys waited for their bath to get ready. I did edit it a little bit, but she catures this awesome moment! Don’t you just want to pinch ‘um! Boy…they’re gonna hate me for posting this when their older. haha!
I was editing some images this evening and found these little gems hiding away in my computer! When I went to visit my sis at the end of the summer I got to play with my little nephews in the water a bunch. We had so much fun going to the splash park and swim lessons! I love these little boys like they were my own. Careful Kim, I might just come steal em’!! =)
