I am not a fan of eggs. I usually refuse to eat them unless they are covered in ranchero sauce. But, give me a carton full of Cadbury Eggs and I will eat them up (no ranchero sauce needed!) I love when Easter comes because these lovely little treats fill the shelves at the grocery store. It’s probably best that they only appear once a year because I might just O.D. on them. So…need an idea for an Easter gift for me…look no further…Cadbury please!
I am pretty excited to show all of you blog readers that I have been published in a book. Local author, Margaret Z. Couch, just released her newest book, “Women who listen to horses”. This past week has been a whirlwind. SB has been extremely busy and I am so grateful. I have been getting all of our Christmas orders in and my school projects finished up. After this semester I only have two classes left until I graduate. It is pretty amazing to me to know that in May of next year I will have a Masters in Architecture. I cannot wait to see what’s in store for John and me. I realized the other day that the entire time John and I have been married I have been a college student. Wow! It will be so fun to get to hang out with my husband without having to worry about school projects and homework. More post to come soon, but in the meantime, I am leaving you with a picture I took tonight of my favorite mug, full of delicious hot chocolate, as I sit at my desk editing away!!
So, I decided to show all of you what I have been working on this past summer! I have a huge 600 sq. foot room on the back of my house that I am converting into a Boudoir Studio!! I have done so much to make this room just perfect for boudoir. This room used to have rough dark brown/grey paneling and bare concrete floors with a very old wooden frame window. I ripped all the paneling out (with the help of my husband and dad), painted the floors, replaced the window and custom built some furniture. I still have a lot to do but, I am about ready to shoot my very first boudoir session here!! I am so excited about my plans, and I want your ideas as well. Please comment below and tell me what you would like to see in my adorable studio space. I have been hunting and searching for some awesome unique furniture to fill the space and use for boudoir sets so if you have anything you think would be an awesome addition…let me know!! Here are a few of my recent finds as well as a wide angle view of one of the areas in my studio…once I get everything organized and in its place I will show you more!! Let me know what you think!!
Okay, Okay…I know…I completely missed this weeks “Philosophy Phriday”, but I have a good excuse! I was swamped with boudoir and engagemnet shoots!! So I will be posting some awesome shots soon!
